We are excited to announce that Orange and Rockland Utilities and Packetized Energy have received approval from New York regulators for an innovative new grid edge flexibility project. Read the approval letter for project details.

Known as the “Whole Home Optimization” program, this new project will develop and test an innovative pay-for-performance business model, identify incentives that encourage rapid adoption of smart energy devices, and will result in 1.2 MW of new flexible capacity for Orange and Rockland.

Customers will engage with the program through our Nimble Mobile App allowing them to manage their smart home devices. With the app’s gamification elements, customers will not only earn rewards for participation, but also generate benefits for their communities through local non-profit organizations. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
